David visit No 10 Downing Street

Cllr David Mackintosh today visited No 10 Downing Street to attend a reception hosted by the Prime Minister, David Cameron.

Cllr Mackintosh spoke with the Prime Minister and discussed some of the key issues affecting Northamptonshire.

Breakfast with new MPs

Cllr David Mackintosh today travelled to Westminster for breakfast with Northamptonshire County Council’s Cabinet and Northamptonshire’s newly-elected MPs to discuss the important issues facing the county.

Cllr Mackintosh said, “The meeting was very productive and we all agreed to work hard together to help the people of Northamptonshire.”

David appointed to Cabinet position

Cllr David Mackintosh was today appointed to the County Council’s Cabinet as Cabinet member for Strategy, Communications and External Relations with specific responsibility for liaising with central government, tracking emerging and new legislation, communications and governance issues.
